Our framework ties together Circular Aims and Enablers; Circular Aims inspire strategic circular outcomes while Enablers work together to facilitate them, making the system stronger like strands in a helix.

Building on established models
The Triple Helix framework is a framework of Circular Aims and Enablers.
For our Circular Aims, we build on established circularity models, which you may already be familiar with and could even be using in your organization. We’ve identified four categories of circular aims as described by the WBCSD, which can be mapped onto the circular economy butterfly diagram by EMF.
By choosing to build on these models, results from adopting Triple Helix in your organization will be in line with leading (reporting) standards based on these models, like CSRD ESRS E5, GRI or CTI to name some.

Our Circular Enablers are elements of a product’s design, ecosystem, or business model which work together to realize circular aims. In our experience, a successful circular solution consciously combines several enablers from these categories, strengthening each other like strands of a helix.
